So, the past year has been intersting. I got married! The best day of my life! My wife is in the navy and her ship pulled out soon after though. She had to leave for 2 months after only being married 2 weeks. Then she got to come home for the holidays but she's been gone for almost 6 months now. She'll be coming home in just a few weeks! Its been a challenge for sure.. we've grown a lot. I can't wait to finally have my wife home again. To finally be able to live with her and have the better half of me home.. not much else to say but I just want to be around her. I'm crazy about her.. this distance has taught us new things that we realize now and other things we won't realize for years to come. It has been a priceless lesson.. but the hardest I've learned so far as well.. months of sleeping alone wishing I could kiss her goodnight or just talk with her face to face.. This has taught us to appreciate smaller things.. simpler things.. I hope we never forget the lessons we've learned over this time. That would be truly tragic to forget. The lessons we learn in life make us who we are, what we appreciate or dispise. Stories to be told in 60 years or more come from days like today. Its how history was and is still made. Nobody tells stories about things that are easy, but things that move you to feel. Feel pain, joy, strength found in the most trying times. Today I'm writing the story of my life moment by moment. When I'm 80 years young will my life have been an inspiration or a waste? Time will tell. Live today or the stories to be told tomorrow will never be made.
All to say I love her. I don't want to waste a single moment I'm alive and we're together. Life is here and now, not tomorrow, when or if, this or that. I love her now near or far even though our time together will come and go.
